Yes, after you have switched to us, you can contact your provider to cancel those lines that were switched over (otherwise they may continue to charge you). 

How much will it cost to switch?

Your investment depends on what you need. We can tailor a plan to suit your needs, whether it is per User or a System-Wide Monthly Charge we can work with you.

We can also provide a fixed cost bundle or competitive pay-as-you-go per-second billing.

Is it easy to switch?

Yes it is, once we have set you up, switching or otherwise known as Porting, has a period of one Hour where your numbers stop ringing via your old provider and commence ringing through us.

What equipment do I need for VoIP?
To use VoIP, you’ll need a reliable internet connection, a VoIP-enabled phone or adapter, and a VoIP service provider like SwitchTel. We offer comprehensive setup support to get you started quickly.
Can I keep my existing phone number with SwitchTel?
Absolutely! SwitchTel allows you to port your existing phone numbers to our VoIP service, ensuring a smooth transition without disrupting your business operations.
Can I keep my existing phones?

This depends on the type of sets you are already using.  Yes – if they are IP Phones from Panasonic, Yealink , Cisco, Grandstream and Poly, we should be able to use them.

From AVAYA to a 3CX Phone System

Background

IT Direct had an AVAYA Phone System which we moved from their City Centre office to their new premises, it became apparent that the AVAYA was limited in its functions, and adding remote workers required an expensive upgrade. Plus they needed an intuitive portal to manage the system themselves.

Solution

We installed the 3CX System and now all staff have the mobile apps, they even have a key team member based in Finland connected to the system. They can manage the system themselves and we are also there to assist. No looking back when they move to 3CX.

From AVAYA to a 3CX Phone System

Background

Toomey had a Panasonic Phone System connected to PSTN lines, the system was ageing and very basic and began to have some technical issues. The door Intercom had also stopped working. 

 

Solution

We installed the 3CX System and hosted it in the Cloud, the system is very reliable with lots more functions such as Remote Apps, a new Door Phone which links to the phone system and Visitors pressing the door phone can be answered anywhere, Voicemail for after-hours messaging. Plus the phone bill is massively reduced as we migrated the expensive PSTN lines to VOIP and now Toomey are saving online rental and much lower call charges.   

From Popular Cloud Host to a 3CX Phone System

Background

Zhivago is Irelands largest upholstery distributor and support Furniture Manufacturer’s throughout Ireland. They had a VOIP Phone System with one of the Large VOIP Providers and had numerous problems with call handling and the ability to transfer calls to users, often left customers cut off. Support was extremely poor and they were thinking of going back to their old analogue phone system

Solution

We provided a 3CX Phone System and traded in their Panasonic Phones against Yealink Phones with Illuminated Extension User Buttons and Illuminated Park Buttons, we also set the phones to Auto Answer in the warehouse, allowing quick response to internal calls. Now Zhivago can transfer calls by using the park solution, which works exactly like their original phone system, calls can be retrieved by selecting the illuminated park button. In addition, Zhivago now benefit from the 3CX Mobile apps and the 3CX Webclient for remote workers and Zhivago now have confidence in their phone system and in our ability to support them.
